These terms and conditions regulate the Agreement between "you" the customer and The Vault Distribution (hereinafter referred to as "vaultdistribution.co.uk").

All goods which appear for sale on the www.vaultdistribution.co.uk web site ("the web site") are advertised as invitations to treat, and no offer of sale shall be implied.

By placing an order with vaultdistribution.co.uk you are offering to purchase the goods detailed within that order, which vaultdistribution.co.uk may or may not accept at their sole discretion.

If an order is accepted, vaultdistribution.co.uk will send you an e-mail to confirm.

You undertake that all details you provide for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the costs of the products you are purchasing.

To ensure that your credit, debit or charge card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information, supplied by you during or after the order process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made. In performing these checks personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of that information. You can rest assured that this is done only to confirm your identity, that a credit check is not performed and that your credit rating will be unaffected. All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

If for any reason your credit card details are incorrect or there is not enough money in your account or for any other reason the order cannot be processed, vaultdistribution.co.uk will have right to rescind and upon their election to do so, the order will be cancelled.

A number of products represented on vaultdistribution.co.uk are made to order. In this instance, full payment for the goods will be taken in advance as the products are bespoke in nature. Please note that made to order and personalised products cannot be returned except in the event of a fault.

If there are any changes to the details supplied by you, it is your responsibility to inform vaultdistribution.co.uk as soon as possible.

Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.

Liability

We attempt to ensure that the information available on the web site at any one time is accurate. However, vaultdistribution.co.uk assume no duty to update such information and cannot guarantee that it will be fault-free.

vaultdistribution.co.uk does not accept liability (except as set out below) for any errors and omissions in the presentation of goods on the web site and reserves the right to change information, specifications and descriptions of listed goods and products at any time. vaultdistribution.co.uk will, however, do its best to correct any errors and omissions as quickly as practicable after being notified of them.

vaultdistribution.co.uk does not make any warranty that the web site is free from infection by viruses or anything else that has contaminating or destructive properties.

vaultdistribution.co.uk will only be liable for loss (save in the case of death or personal injury in respect of which there is no limit) up to a maximum total of the price of the product purchased in respect of any claim.

You are required to print a Copy of Your invoice on which will appear your rights of cancellation in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Contracts Concluded by Distance Communication) Regulations 2000 which you agree to.

The liability section applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not affect your statutory rights.

Use of the site content

The copyright, design rights and artwork on the web site belong to vaultdistribution.co.uk. All other intellectual property rights are reserved. This web site is for personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, licence, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from this web site. You may only download to your personal computer for viewing purposes and print out a number of pages of this web site for your personal use.

Unfortunately, because of the nature of selling via the Internet and product variability, we cannot guarantee that the product colours will be of an exact likeness as seen or as described. Although we strive to portray images in a realistic light, sometimes we are governed by what imagery is available. Product imagery is sometimes displayed in an aesthetic manner (mood shots may be used) and may not necessarily be in conformance with the approved use of such products.

The colours and dimensions of the products portrayed on the site are merely there as a guide. We strive to portray the products as near as we can to the actual colour ways, but we have no control over your personal computer and its settings. Some products incorporate natural materials (e.g. wood, leather, etc.) which may also vary slightly. Therefore colours of products may vary slightly 'in the flesh' from the colour that is portrayed on the website.

Age Restricted Goods

Upon purchase of age restricted goods (including but not limited to: knives, alcohol, electronic cigarettes) you agree to the terms and conditions of this website and confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. We reserve the right to cancel the order if proof of age cannot be provided upon request.

Delivery

Delivery in the UK Mainland is normally £3.99. Some larger items delivered to the following areas below may incur an extra delivery charge. If this is the case then a member of our customer services team will contact you to discuss the various options before the item is dispatched to you.

Areas which may incur an additional delivery charge

• UK islands, e.g. Isle of Wight, Jersey, Isle of Jura, etc.
• Northern Ireland.
• Parts of the Scottish Highlands.
• Parts of Scotland.

In the instance that the product carries an additional charge to be delivered, a member of our customer services team will contact you before the item is dispatched.

Many of our smaller products are dispatched via Royal Mail to the above areas and will still maintain the standard delivery status.

Royal Mail delivery

Most packages sent by vaultdistribution.co.uk will be too large to fit through a letterbox. Somebody will therefore need to be present at the delivery address to take delivery of the order. If delivery is attempted by Royal Mail and nobody is able to take the delivery, a card will be left and the package will be returned to the sorting office to await redelivery instructions or collection. If the package is not redirected or collected within the allotted time the package will eventually be returned to our warehouse. In this case a missed-delivery fee of £3.99 may be charged.

Courier Delivery (Monday-Friday)

Heavy, high value and Express orders will be delivered by a courier and must be signed for by an adult. If delivery is attempted by a courier and nobody is able to take the delivery, a card will be left and the package will be returned to the depot to await collection or redelivery instructions. A second attempt at delivery will be made and a card left if necessary. If the package is still not collected or redirected within the allotted time the package will eventually be returned to our warehouse. In this case a missed-delivery fee of £9.95 may be charged.

International Delivery

For international delivery, shipping price varies with spend. Fast, signed-for courier delivery by FedEx is also available to all international destinations.

North America

Europe

For these purposes Europe includes Turkey, Eastern European countries, non-EU countries, and the Eurasian republics.

Rest of World

Extremely rarely, in the event of unusually heavy orders going to overseas destinations, these shipping tariffs will prove insufficient to cover our costs. In which case we will contact you and request that you pay a postage surcharge to equal our specific shipping costs for your order. Should you choose not to pay that surcharge we will refund your payment in full and cancel your order.

Should we receive no reply to this request we will hold your order for seven days and then refund your payment in full and cancel your order.

Please note - we cannot send orders to Russia, Ukraine or Indonesia

Due to a high incidence of orders being rejected by the Russian Customs Office, and the extremely high costs incurred by vaultdistribution.co.uk when trying to reclaim these parcels, we have been forced to suspend all services to the Russian Federation.

Unfortunately we have also been forced to remove Ukraine and Indonesia as a billing or delivery options due to the high occurrence of fraudulent transactions originating from addresses in these areas.

To our many valued customers from these countries, we can only apologise for any inconvenience. Obviously we regret the loss of your business with us, and we are sorry to have to disappoint you. We hope you understand.

Privacy Policy

We value the security of your personal data, which is why we will only use your email address to send you our newsletter (if requested). Details of how to opt out appear at the bottom of every newsletter. We will never disclose your personal details to a third party under any circumstances. Your Right To Cancel

Your order may be cancelled for any reason up to the point of despatch. A full refund will be made within 30 days.

Returns Policy

For Non-Faulty Goods

If you have had a change of heart you must return the item to vaultdistribution.co.uk unused and in its original condition within 14 days for a refund. Each returned product must include all parts, accessories, instructions and packaging, etc. This includes items such as cable ties and plug covers. Please note that if security seals are broken or if blister packaging has been opened then the product is not in its original condition.

Please contact a member of our Customer Services team on 0131 560 1790 or email [email protected] and they will instruct you on how to return the items and issue you with Returns Authorisation Code. We may also advise how to send the item back to us.

You are also required to complete a Returns Form and return this with your order.

All you pay for is the postage cost of returning the goods. For expensive items we recommend that you use a secure delivery method which requires a signature on receipt, as this insures the package in case it goes missing. The product will remain your responsibility until it has been signed for at the returns address. We do not accept responsibility for products lost or damaged in the post.

Exceptions

We regret that we cannot accept returns on the following non-faulty products:

• The product(s) has/have been personalised, made to order or customised in any way.
• The packaging or any of the individual product components has been unsealed or damaged.
• The product(s) is/are perishable.
• The non-faulty product does not arrive at vaultdistribution.co.uk in a resalable condition. In this case we will not be able to offer you a refund. We will call you to arrange to send the product back to you and to take payment for the subsequent delivery costs.
• The product(s) are toiletries.

Faulty Goods

If the product you have ordered is faulty you have 30 days in which to return it. Parcels or items damaged in transit must be verbally reported to vaultdistribution.co.uk before 3.00pm the next working day following delivery, and also by email within 3 days.

Please contact a member of our Customer Services team on 0131 560 1790 or email [email protected] and they will instruct you on how to return the items to us and issue a Returns Authorisation Code. Failure to do this will delay your return being processed. You are also required to complete a Returns Form and return this with your order.

When returning faulty items we may still ask you to return goods yourself. On receipt vaultdistribution.co.uk will reimburse the costs incurred*. vaultdistribution.co.uk shall pay you a reasonable* postage amount for the return of the product. We normally ask that goods are sent back via First Class Royal Mail (Recorded Delivery) but it may be necessary for us to arrange to collect certain items via a courier.

* Please obtain a proof of postage costs so we can reimburse you the full amount.

* Please note that by reasonable we mean any delivery service equivalent to the cost of Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and up to a maximum value of £10. We regret that we will not be able to refund excessive postage costs (for example goods being sent by special delivery or by courier when this is not necessary). If the postage costs are going to exceed £10 please contact us on 0131 560 1790 for further advice.

Exceptions

We will not confirm that we have received your return. After receipt of your goods we aim to issue refunds within 14 working days. The cost of your gift will be refunded to the credit/debit card used to make the purchase. Please note refunds take 5 working days to clear from the point of processing.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order please contact our Customer Services Team on 0131 560 1790. If your goods have been despatched before cancellation you will be liable for the costs of returning the unwanted items.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
